The story of Josh and Jessaka Clark

EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. -- A Georgia couple who adopted seven siblings has welcomed another addition to their family.

The story of Josh and Jessaka Clark's family spread across the country earlier this year. On their first date, Josh told Jessaka that he dreamed of having 10 kids, and he hoped that most of those children could be adopted.

Those plans came to fruition sooner than expected. After their marriage and the birth of their son Noah, they began to look into the adoption process. Initially they were interested in a sibling group "of at least two or three."

In March 2016, the adoption agency had big news: Seven children were available for adoption. The children moved in the Clark's home that August and earlier this year, their adoption became official.

The couple had hoped to adopt another sister of the "Super 7" siblings, but haven't been able to receive any information on her. But another set of circumstances led to their family growing some more.

Jessika told 11Alive that a close family friend became pregnant and asked if they'd be interesting in adopting her baby as she "wanted to give her baby the best life she could."

"We were able to go through most of the pregnancy with her and I was even the first one to hold her and be in the delivery room," Jessaka said. "It was a very special adoption."

After the story went viral, a GoFundMe account raised more than $68,000 for the family. Jessaka said they're expanding their home to accommodate their growing family.

At the end of this month, the family is adding two kids bedroom, a master suite and a pool.
